Forms & Info - Welcome Letter
Welcome to a brand new year at Bennett’s Mill Middle School! I am excited to get the year started and hope to build upon the excellence we have already begun to achieve. My goal is to provide a wonderful music education and to expose your child to many different styles and genres of music.
This is not going to be a normal year by any means. Know that I am keeping up with all the latest safety protocols and recommendations as it relates to singing and making music. We will be able to make music- just not exactly as we have in the past. Hopefully each student will gain more knowledge and confidence in their natural abilities and show great growth this year.
Please remember that I am here to help in any way I can. My e-mail address is wilkins.delacey@mail.fcboe.org. Since e-mailing is one of the most efficient ways to communicate, please be sure to include your e-mail addresses when the student information sheet is returned.
The Handbook, Syllabus and Forms are all available below. To save costs we will not send home a hard copy of the Handbook or Syllabus to you unless specifically requested. We will send home a hard copy of the forms that you should sign and return. This handbook serves as a two-way informational tool. Please read through it with your child and return the appropriate forms and payments by Monday, September 18, 2020. Please note that there are several places for you to sign. Although some of the information may seem redundant, each form serves a different purpose. If more time is needed before a payment can be sent in, please contact me prior to the due date or write a note on the student information sheet.

Uniforms
This year performances will be very limited and informal. With that in mind, I am making adjustments to our uniform.

Student will wear Chorus T-shirt and black pants & shoes.
​
Jeans and athletic shoes are not considered acceptable attire for any of the performing groups unless otherwise stated. Parents are responsible for the black dress pants & black dress shoes.
